Family Hike in Northumberland Forest
June 19th, 2010 (Fathers Day Weeekend)

Hike for Health ~ No Cop Out! is a family-oriented, non-competitive hiking event in the beautiful Northumberland Forest
to raise funds for the purchase of new medical equipment for the Northumberland Hills Hospital. Choose from several hiking distances, including 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, 20 km or 40 km – there is a hike for everyone!

This family-focused fundraiser, hosted the day before Father’s Day, is poised to become one of Northumberland’s
most anticipated events of the year. The event will bring participants of all ages and fitness levels together to enjoy
a walk in the picturesque Northumberland Forest while raising funds for the purchase of essential new medical
equipment for our hospital. As you may be aware, the Provincial Government provides limited funding for equipment purchaes. Therefore, your participation helps to ensure that our doctors, nurses and staff will have access to
up-to-date medical equipment to continue to provide the highest quality health care services possible.
